T-X flight trainer requirements to be released within weeks

The requirements for the T-X programme are expected to be released within the next few weeks, according to Gen. Robin Rand, head of Air Education and Training Command (AETC) speaking at the Air Force Association Air Warfare Symposium.
"We're hopeful that here soon the secretary will authorise us to release the requirements," said Rand. "We're not talking years. We're not talking months. Hopefully we're talking weeks."
