Covering more than 58,000 kilometres across the Asia-Pacific region, the German, French and Spanish Air and Space Forces have successfully concluded an unprecedented airlift deployment in mid-August. With the #Pacific Skies 2024 exercise, they demonstrated their ability to deploy quickly and flexibly beyond their home regions, working together and interoperating with different aircraft, among them more than 40 aircraft made by Airbus.
Airbus supported the joint airborne operation with a strong customer services organisation behind the scenes in order to ensure operational readiness and fleet availability for its customers.
In this challenging exercise, the use of advanced technologies such as big data analytics has demonstrated its value once again.
