Behrooz Jalalahmadi

VP of Additive Manufacturing and Life Prediction Technologies Sentient Science

Dr. Behrooz Jalalahmadi is the VP of Additive Manufacturing and Life Prediction Technologies with Sentient Science. He graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN in 2010 with a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering and then joined Sentient Science, since then he has taken various roles in both R&D and commercial delivery. In 2015, Behrooz formed the Additive Manufacturing (AM) team at Sentient and has been the team leader since then, working on various AM projects and developing Sentient’s DigitalClone for Additive Manufacturing (DCAM) platform. He has been the principal investigator for multiple SBIR Phase I and Phase II projects. Also, he is the lead scientist for development of the Component Life Prediction integrated numerical solver and support of life prediction projects and validations. His expertise includes: fatigue, additive manufacturing, material microstructure, tribology, damage mechanics, modeling and simulation. Behrooz has presented in various technical conferences and published multiple peer-reviewed journal papers.
