Since graduating from Cranfield University with a Masters, Philip has worked in the defence industry for nearly 30 years, specialising in adhesives and polymers for use in the maritime environment. During this time he gained his PhD from the University of Surrey As part of Thales UK’s Underwater Systems business, he has worked on a wide range of products including the application of polymeric materials, and their associated processing, in support of the company’s current products and development of future technology.
