Principal Scientist - Operational Analysis NATO

Louise is an Operational Analyst with a professional analysis career spanning 20 years, delivering decision support across multiple areas of defence and security. Louise joined the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) as a Principal Scientist in 2018. In this role Louise manages, leads, and provides a range of operational analysis to NATO, primarily to ACT for the NATO Defence Planning Process, but also on issues around Capability Development and Procurement. Before joining NATO Louise had multiple roles within the UK Ministry of Defence, Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (UK) and the U.S. Department of Defense. Louise has experience providing decision support in multiple areas, with special interests in defence planning, procurement, wargames, simulations, and science & technology. Louise obtained a Masters in Mathematics from Leicester University, is a Chartered Mathematician and Associate Fellow of the UK Operational Research Society.
