Rear Admiral Luis Fernando Márquez Velosa, President of the Science and Technology Corporation for the development of Naval, Maritime and Riverine Industries - COTECMAR

He entered the "Almirante Padilla" Naval Cadet School in 1987, graduating as Lieutenant Commander on December 1, 1990, specializing in Maritime Administration

His last positions held: Director of the Administrative and Financial Directorate of the General Command of the Military Forces, Commander of the ARC “Bolívar” Naval Base, Director of Social Welfare of the National Navy, Commander of the Naval Logistics Command, Chief of Human Development and Family and Head of Logistics Operations.

He has a Master's degree in Defense and National Security at the Higher School of War, specialization studies in Logistics at the Naval School for Cadets "Almirante Padilla", Senior Business Management Program at the School of Management and Business of the University of La Sabana. He has also participated in the Set of Conversations in Norway and Illicit Trafficking of Persons Seminar in the Dominican Republic.
