Major Mark Fetters is the British Army’s Future Counter-Explosive Ordnance Capability lead, having spent the majority of his 15-year career working in Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Search. He has just finished commanding the Squadron that provide EOD&S support to 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team and 3 Commando Brigade, ready to deploy anywhere in the world at very short notice. His prior experience includes being responsible for Counter-Improvised Explosive Device policy at the Ministry of Defence, advising the African Union Mission in Somalia, and training Iraqi troops during their fight against the Islamic State. Prior to joining the Army, Mark completed a three-year ‘deployment’ at the investment bank Goldman Sachs.
