Colonel Christopher Bartos has spent 25 years serving in the United States Army from the tactical to the operational level. He currently serves as the Deputy Director for NATO's only Center of Excellence in Spain, responsible for enhancing education and training support to Allied Nations during peace and wartime to counter Improvised Explosive Threats. He is a graduate of the United States Army War College and has commanded at multiple levels during peace and conflict operations. Colonel Bartos has completed multiple deployments once to Korea, twice to Iraq in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn, once to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom, and once to Kuwait in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. He is a graduate of the United States Navy School for Explosive Ordnance Disposal and rated as a Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician.
