National Senior NCO Ammunition & EOD Norwegian Armed Forces

Command Master Sergeant Chris Taarneby Maukeng (Norwegian Army Ordnance Corps) is the National Senior NCO Ammunition & EOD in the Norwegian Armed Forces. He is also the senior NCO of the Norwegian Joint School of Ammunition & EOD. He has 20 years of military service, primarily in combat engineer and EOD units. In 2010 he worked in the Norwegian Army Staff, primarily with the initial efforts to establish a professional NCO Corps in the Norwegian Armed Forces. He recently ended a posting as an ammunition and EOD development specialist, where his main tasks were to produce and revise EOD related concepts, doctrines, regulations and handbooks. Since 2017 Maukeng has been a regular augmentee at the Norwegian Joint Headquarters, advising operational and tactical level commands in EOD related matters. On august 1. 2024 Maukeng took on the position as Command Master Sergeant and National Senior NCO Ammunition & EOD.
