Captain Eduardo DIAZ borned in Lima, on the 6 th of January in 1974, he has 23 years as Peruvian Naval officer. His specialty in the Peruvian Navy is Naval Infantry officer, and the specialty as a Marine is in Special Operations. Captain DIAZ Has studied at the Peruvian Joint Staff College, he has a Masters degree in International Security an Counter Terrorism at the United State´s National Defense University and he studied the senior-level Joint Profesional Military Education program at the U.S. National War College. He has studied Expeditionary Wargfare Staff Planning, Amphibious Warfare Indoctrination, and Amphibious Airspace Operations Coordination Course at the Expeditionary Warfare Training Group, Atlantic in Norfolk, Virginia. He has studied UN Peace Operations at the School for Peace Operations in Holland.
Captain DIAZ was deployed to serve as Platoon Commander and Operations Officer as part of the Peruvian contingent in the UN misión in Haiti, he served as Military Liason Officer in the UN misión in South Sudan, and as UN Staff Officer in The Democratic Republic of Congo. During his carree he was the Special Operations Compouned Commander in a Operational Command, he was the Commander of the Peruvian’s Marines Commandos Batallion and currently is the Commander of the Peruvian Marines Amphibious Brigade
