Inspector of Infantry Finnish Defence Forces

My Professional background is based on Infantry. After graduating from the Military Academy 1995, I served the first years in the Pohja Brigade. After that I have served in several duties in Guard Jaeger regiment starting from Platoon leader and ending to Guard Battalion Commander. Over the years I have served also in several field and staff positions, including positions in the Nato Operation, Army Command Finland and Defence Command Finland. In this duty as Inspector Infantry, which includes also supervising the training and development of the Finnish Mortar capability, I started in April 2024. My previous duties before this was Army Chief of Training, Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff, Training (DCOS J7) and Deputy Commander of Kainuu Brigade.
