Alexander Stephenson
Divisional Director Defence IQ
Alex is responsible for a portfolio of defence and security that covers everything from maritime security in the Caribbean to fighter aircraft and disruptive technologies.
He has organised the International Armoured Vehicles Conference 2016-2022.
He joined Defence IQ in March 2012 and holds an MA in Terrorism, Security and Society from King’s College London’s War Studies Department, and a BA in International Relations from the University of Sussex.
Prior to his MA he worked briefly in Washington D.C. as a state fiscal policy analyst at the Tax Foundation. Alex will be on-site for the duration of the 2022 IAVC and remains available to help facilitate meetings, answer any questions, and generally make things happen.
