Business Development Director Horstman

Bertie Williams is a Business Development Director for Horstman Defence Systems Ltd with responsibility for key worldwide markets and clients and joined the business in September 2021. Before Horstman he served 18 years in the British Army serving on operations in a range of staff and command positions in Germany, Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Canada, Iraq and Afghanistan. After leaving the Army he worked for 8 years in Nuclear Decommissioning for two different companies in business leadership positions leading projects and businesses in the UK, Italy, Germany and Japan. Prior to joining Horstman he spent 3 years working in the UK Healthcare sector leading change programmes and projects, most latterly working in the Joint Biosecurity Centre supporting the UK’s COVID response. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering and a MSc in Defence Technology and has passed the UK’s Advanced Command and Staff Course at the Joint Service Command and Staff College, Shrivenham.
