Brigadier General Abdullah Hasan Al-Hunaiti

Central Region Commander Jordan Armed Forces

Brigadier General Al-Huneiti was born in 1965 in Amman. He graduated from the University of Mut’ah as second lieutenant in 1988 with a Bachelor degree in LAW. He received his first commission in King Hussein Bin Talal 40th Armored Brigade. He attended the Royal Jordanian Command and Staff course, the Canadian Land Forces Command and Staff course, as well as he earned a Master degree in International Security and Strategic Studies from USA- National Defense University.

International missions

• Military observer - UN peacekeeping mission in Croatia (1995).
• Military observer - UN peacekeeping mission in Slovenia (1996).
• Brigadier-General Al-Huneiti supervised and coordinated many JAF missions to Afghanistan and peacekeeping missions under the umbrella of United Nations organization while serving as the chief of peacekeeping branch in the directorate of warfare operations

• Commandant of the Royal Jordanian Command and Staff College (Jul-December 2020)
• Director of Planning and Organizing Directorate -GHQ. (Apr-Jul 2020)
• Chief of staff- The Eastern MilitaryRegional Command (2019-2020)
• Director of Strategic Planning Directorate (2017-2019)
• Wasfi Altal 2nd Mechanized Brigade commander- The Eastern Military Regional Command (2016-2017)
• Director of Moral Guidance Directorate-GHQ (2015-2016)
• Commander of Prince Alhasan Mechanized Battalion, The Northern Military Regional Command (2007-2008)

Major staff assignments

• Office Director of the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (2012-2015)
• Chief of peacekeeping branch in the directorate of warfare operations (2009-2012)

During his service, Brigadier-General Al-Hunaity has received many local and international decorations.
