Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Universal Motion Simulation (UMS)

Dr Peter Meikle joined Universal Motion Simulator Pty Ltd (UMS) as the CEO in October 2021. His role is to establish UMS as a global leader in harnessing innovation to produce motion platforms that allow the occupants of ground combat vehicle simulators to sense the motion as would be experienced in the actual vehicle.

Peter has over 25 years’ experience in the development and commercialisation of technology-based products. He has occupied consultant and senior company roles, including as CEO, managing R&D, strategy, marketing, business development, and competitive response in both private and listed companies.

Peter holds a Bachelor Engineering (Mech.), and a PhD from the University of Melbourne. He is an experienced ocean yacht racer and an enthusiastic aircraft pilot holding fixed wing and commercial rotary wing licences,
