Major General Colin Tuley

Commanding General, Maneuver Center of Excellence US Army

Major General Colin Tuley has served as the Commanding General, U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence and Fort Moore, since July 2024. Major General Tuley’s other assignments as a General Officer include Deputy Commanding General, XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Liberty, Deputy Director (Strategy, Plans, and Policy) of the J-5 Directorate at United States Central Command, Deputy Commanding General (Operations) of 1st Armored Division, and Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations) for the Resolute Support Mission under the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). His formative and key Army assignments include Chief of Staff and then Director of Operations, J3, US Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), Commander of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Commander 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. Major General Tuley served over ten years in the 75th Ranger Regiment to include: 2nd Ranger Battalion, 3rd Ranger Battalion and the 75th Ranger Regiment Headquarters as the Executive Officer, Deputy Commanding Officer, and Joint Task Force Commander. He has multiple deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. Major General Tuley is a graduate of the Citadel Military College, the Command and General Staff College, and the US Army War College Fellowship at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Major General Tuley is married to Jin Tuley, and they have two daughters, Alex, and Annabelle.
