SO2 Equipment Support Capability Development British Army

Maj Mark Foster commissioned in to the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) in 2009. During his career he has deployed on Operation HERRICK 19, commanded 1st Bn Welsh Guards Light Aid Detachment and Support Squadron of the Armoured Trials and Development Unit (ATDU), and is now employed in the Futures Directorate of Army Headquarters leading the development of the Equipment Support Skills Transformation and Advanced Manufacturing technology integration. As a Chartered Engineer he conducts Professional Review Interviews for the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, has a keen interest in Computer Aided Design and is working towards becoming a Certified Solidworks Professional in Mechanical Design.
