Brigadier General Eugenio Dessi

Brigadier General Eugenio DESSÌ attended the 169th course of the Military Academy of MODENA from 1987 to 1989. Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant of the Infantry Branch, he continued his studies at the Junior Army Officer School in TURIN. He attended both the 126th Staff Officer Course and the 6th Advanced Joint Staff Officer Course. He held positions as Platoon Commander at the 28th "OSLAVIA" Bersaglieri Battalion, Company Commander at the 28th "OSLAVIA" Bersaglieri Battalion and subsequently at the 2nd Bersaglieri Regiment. He commanded the Battalion of the 47th "Ferrara" Volunteer Training Regiment. On promotion to Colonel, he was appointed Commander of the 11th Bersaglieri Regiment. He was appointed in staff positions in the area of human resources. In particular at the Organization Office of the Personnel Department of the Defense General Staff, at the Joint Operational Command as Head of the J1 Personnel Division and at the Command for Training, Specialization and Doctrine of the Army as Head of the Training and Specialization Office. He is graduated in Mechanical Engineering with postgraduate education. Currently he is the Commander of the Italian Army Infantry School.
