James Scott is Saab UK’s lead for Barracuda signature management products. Previously, James served a full military career in the British Army as an Infantry Officer. His education includes degrees in Applied Science, Design of Information Systems and Defence & International Affairs. In addition to considerable operational experience, he led Means education on the Advanced Command and Staff Course and was then lead planner for both the 2018 and 2021 NATO major live exercises, based out of Naples, Italy. When not working, he retains a lifelong passion for mountains, particularly alpine skiing. James looks forward to sharing Saab’s perspective on survivability and its link to lethality. This includes maintaining the capability to manoeuvre despite an increasingly challenging sensor and threat environment and advocate for the need for signature management interoperability across NATO.
