Air Commodore Pete Robinson

Commander, Air Combat Group Royal Australian Air Force

Air Commodore Robinson is currently the Commander Air Combat Group for the Royal Australian Air Force and is responsible for raising, training and sustaining Air Force's capability to control the air and conduct precision strike and airborne electronic attack. Air Combat Group operates the F-35A Lightning II, F/A-18F Super Hornet, EA-18G Growler, Hawk 127 and Pilatus PC-21 aircraft. Air Combat Group is also responsible for Air Force’s special forces capability, known as combat controllers, which is based on a similar capability in the United States Air Force Special Operations Command.
