Jennifer Lewis is President of Airborne Combat Systems (ACS) for L3Harris Technologies. In this role, Lewis is responsible for business strategy, financial performance, execution excellence and growth. The ACS sector provides airborne systems and solutions that enable U.S. and allied warfighters with technical overmatch in evolving complex threat environments – including military avionics and display solutions, electronic warfare and spectrum operations, multi-function sensing, long range low-cost multieffects weapons, modular missiles, radar surveillance, precision approach radar, launch solutions and carriage release systems.
Prior to this role, Lewis served as vice president and general manager for the F-35 Mission Avionics division for production, as well as Tech Refresh 3 (TR3) development and transition to production. TR3 provides gamechanging critical infrastructure upgrades to enable future warfighter capability for the F-35. Lewis led the completion of development through safety of flight testing and transition to production.
Lewis joined Harris Corporation in 2018 as vice president of Engineering for the Electronic Systems segment. After the merger with L3 Technologies in 2019, Lewis served as vice president of Engineering for the $5.4B Integrated Mission Systems segment of L3Harris Technologies. In this role, she was responsible for integrating the engineering function of ~5,700 engineers delivering a portfolio of Power Distribution, Reconnaissance, Electro Optics and Aviation.
Prior to joining Harris, Lewis served as senior director of Systems Engineering at Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems business, where she was responsible for developing mission solutions for air and missile defense, C4I and undersea systems, and delivering execution excellence for a growing national prime systems engineering organization.
Lewis has more than 20 years of leadership experience, including extensive experience in building and integrating mission systems across missile defense, C4I, land and sea based radars, and airborne systems
Lewis has a bachelor’s degree in math and computer science and a master’s degree in computer science, from Boston University.
