Commodore Mark Langrill

Head of UK Military Flying Training Systems DE&S - UK MOD

As Head of the DE&S UK Military Flying Training Systems Team, Mark Langrill is the delivery agent responsible for establishing and managing the programmes, services and airworthiness baselines which provide the UK Armed Forces with flying training.

An Air Engineer Officer, he has served in Royal Navy, RAF and Joint Helicopter Command (Army) units, along with staff tours in MOD Headquarters and Navy Command HQ.

His current role is his fourth in the equipment support and acquisition arena, and builds on his extensive experience of delivering output-based enterprise activity that combines live and synthetic elements and uses civil-certified solutions where appropriate.
