FMV Test & Evaluation
The Test & Evaluation Division (T&E) of the Swedish Defence Administration (FMV) has the main responsibility to perform test and evaluation within the air domain on behalf of the Swedish Armed Forces.
FMV T&E is the operator of several test engineering offices and test-, training- and exercise ranges in Sweden. With access to large, unpopulated test areas and world-class testing facilities, FMV T&E is your one-stop shop for the verification and validation of aircraft, helicopters as well as weapons, electronic warfare, sensor and other technical systems. The Flight Physiological Centre, a part of our Flight Test Centre, encompasses our competence, expertise and infrastructure within the flight medical domain. The main capabilities includes the Dynamic Flight Simulator (DFS), the Hypobaric chamber, the Hyperbaric chamber, a Normobaric Hypoxia Demonstration Room and a sea survival pool.
The systems are primarily used for training, but also for medical research and material testing.
