Michael Schäfer

I am a retired German Air Force Officer born in 1967, graduated in Computer Science and working mainly in the areas of Air Force Logistics and IT as specialist as well as in commanding roles. In 2000 I joined NATO first with the NATO Agency NETMA (for the aircrafts EF2000 & Tornado), being responsible for all in-house software applications for Logistics, Finance and HR. Since 2005, I am with the NATO Agency NSPA (NATO Support and Procurement Agency) working in different positions to provide automated and integrated logistics services in support of the NH90 and TIGER helicopters as well as the A400M airlifter, the Multi Role Tanker aircraft MRTT, the Air Ground Surveillance System AGS and the BOXER vehicles.  Since 2018, I am the Programme Manager of the NSPA A400 & NH90/TIGER Programme Office.
