Commander Schimera has 10 years experience in German naval aviation, including Search and Rescue Ops with Sea King Mk41 and Ops Officer duties within Naval Airwing 5. Furthermore, he was posted to the German Bundeswehr Office for Defence Planning as Capability Manager in the Air and Space domain. My current position within the Marinefliegerkommando is Deputy Head of Planning Department and Department Head of the Rotary and UAS section and NH90 Pilot.
