David Alfano

Head of Next Generation Rotorcraft System Airbus Helicopters

David is the Head of Next Generation Rotorcraft System at Airbus Helicopters, preparing and executing Airbus Helicopters Strategy towards the next generation of military rotorcraft. In his experiences at Airbus, David has been an aerodynamicists and technical expert, and then managed teams, projects, and programs, being previously RACER High Speed Demonstrator Program Director. David authored 15 patents related to rotorcraft design, as well as co-authored more than 20 scientific communications. He holds 2 MSc (Mechanical Systems, and Aerodynamics), a Doctorate in Fluid Dynamics, and is an auditor of the IHEDN (Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defence), majoring in Armament and Defence Economics.
