Joseph Evans is the Site Manager of Moog Inc., Specialized Weapon Systems, Orlando, FL. He joined the Moog team in 2021 as a Senior Program Manager fielding and integrating our Stores Management System (SMS) on various military and civilian fixed and rotary-wing aircraft and supports our drone detection services for NASA. Joseph proudly served 21 years in the US Army holding numerous positions. He was Quality Manager for the Regimental Operational Assessment Element, 160th SOAR. US Army Special Operations Command G4 Aviation readiness NCOIC, representing the Command on major aviation maintenance issues at the AMCOM, PM, and OEM levels. He served with the Aviation Foreign Internal Defense (AvFID), training and evaluating multi force aviation maintenance practices and rapid deployment techniques, and as a member of the US SOCOM J-31 Air inspection team performing multistate FAA evaluations. Joseph also had the honor of serving as the Army Special Operations Museum Aviation SME, cataloging and divesting multiple non-standard rotary wing assets. He served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor for multiple OCONUS combat aviation operations. Throughout Joseph’s career he has been a constant advocate for the warfighter. He holds two aviation degrees, airframe and powerplant certificates, as well as federal communication certificates in sonar, radar and submarine.
