Lieutenant Colonel Emiliano PELLEGRINI joined the Italian Army Aviation in 1999, after the training period was assigned to 5 th Attack Helicopter Regiment “RIGEL” where served as attack helicopter pilot, Helicopter Squadron Commander and Operations Officer. He has flown fixed wing SF-260, scout helicopter AgustaBell-206, multirole helicopter AgustaBell-205, as well as the AgustaWestland A-129 “Mangusta” attack helicopter. From 2012 to 2016 was Commander of 34 Helicopters Group Squadron “TORO” and also Helicopter Base Commander. He has been deployed in several abroad exercises and missions to the north of Europe to Middle East (Poland, Iraq, Geordan, Afghanistan). He is currently stationed at the JAPCC as the Attack Helicopter Subject Matter Expert in the Combat Air Branch.
