Commencing her 1710 NAS career in March 2017 as a Wear Debris Analyst, determining the material composition and wear mechanisms of debris particles, Steph has been a defining figure in establishing a Remote Wear Debris Programme. In November 2020 she subsequently promoted into the role of Technical Data Exploitation Lead, establishing a leading position for 1710 NAS within the Fleet Air Arm (FAA) to harness and use data generated information. Promoted to Head of Data Exploitation in June 2023, Steph is leading on a coherent approach of Data Exploitation tasks within the FAA. She is driving the requirement to harness information from data and unlock the potential within the available datasets, with the drive to utilise data as a key strategic asset. Her aspirations are an empowered workforce through assured Data Exploitation tools in an integral Data Driven Culture to maximise aircraft availability, air safety, operational efficiency, and capability.
