Applied Virtual Simulation (AVS) AVS a leading supplier of simulation-based training systems and software engineering services. AVS designs, fabricates, integrates and provides sustainment services for a wide range of training systems for defence applications including collective training devices, simulation software environments, models, and geo-specific terrain. AVS has delivered a range of simulation-based training systems to the Australian Army and allied nations which are used to train hundreds of soldiers annually.  AVS is the Prime Contractor on the Australian Army's Land Simulation Core 2.0 program which will deliver an integrated suite of tools and data to enable combined arms training with a virtual and constructive simulation environment. AVS has developed a range of training systems for rotary wing aviation training – including tactical training devices for the AH-64, Link-16 part task trainers and operations cell / command post training tools.
