
Andrew Staniforth
Andrew Staniforth is Director of Innovation at Saher Europe, a security research and training consultancy operating at a global level. As a former Special Branch intelligence officer and counter-terrorism police detective, he has worked in 22 countries and supported missions of the United Nations Terrorism Prevention Branch. He has designed international multi-agency security exercise programmes, delivered counter-terrorism training and, as a Senior Research Fellow and Visiting Lecturer, he has held academic positions at leading UK research institutes. Andrew sits by invitation on numerous international research Advisory Boards and is an Expert Evaluator for the European Commission security research and innovation programmes for cyber security and disaster resilience. His new book, Counter-Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Handbook, will be published by Artech House later this year.
